As a Senior Vice President at Dezenhall Resources, Michael Bova specializes in complex crisis management, media relations, and the development of impactful public affairs campaigns for client issues. Bova also serves as a strategic advisor to numerous clients dealing with complex litigation and legislation.
His curiosity and strong teamwork mentality have led him to work on a wide range of issues across many industries, most notably: healthcare, biotechnology, energy, financial services, technology, education, manufacturing, and retail, both in the U.S. and internationally.
Prior to joining Dezenhall Resources, Bova led multiple teams assisting multinational financial institutions and international governments in achieving their communications goals at Hill & Knowlton Strategies. His work at the agency allowed him to counsel more than a dozen clients to tell clear and high-impact stories through earned, owned, and paid media across a diverse set of industries. Prior to that, Bova was a producer at Fox Business for nearly five years, where he was a producer, launching and producing the morning show program “Mornings with Maria Bartiromo,” and working on the “Imus in the Morning” program.
He has a unique focus on startup companies, their development, ways in which they can break through barriers of entry and disrupt industries, and the role that communications plays in that.
Bova is a graduate of James Madison University and resides in Westchester County, NY with his wife, young daughter Zoe, and dog Betty. While times have been tough in the N.Y. sports world, he still holds out hope that either the Mets or the Jets will win a championship in his lifetime.
