David Manitsky

Senior Counselor

David Manitsky is a Senior Counselor at Dezenhall Resources where he specializes in digital communications, media relations and public affairs for a diverse range of clients. 

Prior to joining Dezenhall, Manitsky worked for the National Association of Home Builders, where he focused on in-depth policy analysis and digital communications for the industry association. 

Manitsky served as Deputy Press Secretary in Senator Patrick Leahy’s Washington, D.C. office until the Senator’s retirement in January of 2023. In his three and a half years in the Senate, Manitsky worked in key moments such as hearings for nominations to the Supreme Court, bipartisan Appropriations bills and two presidential impeachments, the second of which Senator Leahy presided over the Senate trial. 

Before coming to Washington, Manitsky was a Production Assistant for an NBC talk show.  

He is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he majored in political science and minored in cinematic arts. Manitsky lives in Washington, D.C. and in his free time enjoys playing softball, watching movies and making short films.
