Anne Marie Malecha, Chief Executive Officer of Dezenhall Resources, co-directs the firm’s client services and specializes in litigation communication, complex crisis management, advocacy strategy, and reputation management. Malecha also leads Dezenhall’s executive advisory, media training, and operations teams.
With more than a decade of executive-level experience as a crisis manager, her clients include a wide range of Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, prominent individuals, sports organizations, nonprofits, and educational institutions across various sectors such as defense, food and agriculture, consumer products, legal, healthcare, biotechnology, energy, financial services, technology, education, manufacturing, and retail, in the U.S. and internationally.
Malecha’s insights and expertise have been featured in various media outlets, including CNN, Forbes, Newsweek, The Hill, and The Washington Post. She is also a sought-after speaker who frequently lectures at conferences and universities, including Catholic University, Georgetown University, and George Washington University.
Malecha started her career in the public sector as a communications and legislative professional on Capitol Hill. She served as communications director and chief spokesperson for Congressman Robert Aderholt during his tenure as chairman of the House Appropriations Homeland Security and Agriculture Subcommittees. During her tenure in government, Malecha also served in the congressional offices of Representatives Erik Paulsen and Jim Ramstad from Minnesota and Judge Ted Poe from Texas.
Malecha is deeply committed to mentorship and education. She actively contributes to the growth and development of future leaders by serving on the Board of Visitors of La Follette High School and the Board of Directors of the Madison Public Schools Foundation in Madison, Wisconsin.
Malecha is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and resides in Washington, D.C., with her rescue dogs, Layla and Lennox. Still a Midwesterner at heart, she has a fervent love for lake life, ice fishing, cheese curds, and, of course, the Green Bay Packers.
