As a Senior Director at Dezenhall Resources, Riley Althouse Beck specializes in media relations, issues management, and strategic communication. She utilizes her experience in public affairs, mass communication, and tactical planning to effectively message across all platforms.

Prior to joining the firm, Beck served as deputy press secretary for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). During her time there, she was an on-the-record spokeswoman for the Department and reported daily to the Secretary and the White House. While at HHS, Beck garnered extensive insight into the public health, healthcare, and pharmaceutical industries.

Beck is originally from Indiana and visits her family there as often as she can. She earned her B.A. in Mass Communication and Media Studies with minors in Public Relations, Marketing & Advertising, and Gender & Women’s Studies from Saint Mary’s College Notre Dame. She now lives in Washington, DC with her husband.
