Malecha is Senior Vice President at Dezenhall Resources. She directs the firm’s client services and public affairs, crisis communications and advocacy strategy for a wide range of Fortune 500 companies, trade associations and national nonprofit organizations in the U.S. and internationally. She specializes in counseling companies and individuals in crisis and under attack by the media, public interest groups, competitors or regulators and has worked for clients in the defense, food and agriculture, legal, pharmaceutical, natural products, biotechnology, energy, financial services, education and retail sectors.
Prior to joining Dezenhall Resources, Malecha started her career in the public sector as a communications and legislative professional on Capitol Hill. She served as communications director and on-the-record spokesperson for Congressman Robert Aderholt during his chairmanships of the House Appropriations Homeland Security and Agriculture Subcommittees. During her tenure in government, Malecha also served in the congressional offices of representatives from Minnesota and Texas.
Malecha is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and lives in Washington, D.C. A native Wisconsinite, she has an unending love of all things Sconnie, particularly enjoying lake life, cheese and the one and only Green Bay Packers.
