Dezenhall Adds Five Dynamic Hires – Katie Runkle, Steffen Newman, Amma Boateng, MaryGrace Lucas, and Jana Spacek

Washington, D.C. — Dezenhall Resources’ battle-tested team continues to grow with the additions of Katie Runkle, Associate; Steffen Newman, Associate; Amma Boateng, Senior Director, Coalitions; MaryGrace Lucas, Vice President; and Jana Spacek, Managing Director of Organizational Development and Operations.

Katie Runkle, Associate 
Runkle, an honors capstone graduate of James Madison University, excels in creative storytelling and social and new media content development. Her published work in the Augusta Free Press and The Breeze demonstrates strong writing and keen editorial insight. 

Steffen Newman, Associate 
Newman joins from Stones’ Phones, where he managed major campaigns for high-profile clients, including labor unions and grassroots organizations. An honors graduate of Denison University, he brings sharp project management skills and a strategic client focus. 

Amma Boateng, Senior Director, Coalitions 
Boateng, a two-time Howard University graduate, lawyer and former Congressional Black Caucus Fellow, offers deep expertise in Congressional investigations, technology policy, and stakeholder advocacy. She strengthens Dezenhall’s coalition and public affairs capabilities.  

MaryGrace Lucas, Vice President 
Lucas, an Emmy Award-winning executive producer, previously led PolicyCast Strategies and top news programs at CNN and Fox News. She brings proven strategic media leadership and high-level client advisory experience. 

Jana Spacek, Managing Director of Organizational Development and Operations 
Spacek brings extensive experience leading cross-functional teams and complex operations. She will oversee project management, operations, and client engagements, strengthening Dezenhall’s infrastructure, innovation and growth.
