CNN. Linda Yaccarino is out as CEO of Elon Musk’s X

Linda Yaccarino has stepped down as CEO of Elon Musk’s X, formerly known as Twitter, after two years marked by dramatic transformation and persistent challenges. Her departure comes amid ongoing controversies surrounding content moderation and advertiser confidence, as well as the platform’s integration with Musk’s AI company, xAI. Anne Marie Malecha on her tenure at X, “I don’t think anyone believed (Yaccarino) would make it this long,” said Malecha. “I also don’t think that anyone anticipated that Musk would become part of the political zeitgeist in the way that he did during that two-year period.”
