Sam Jefferies

Jefferies is a Vice President at Dezenhall Resources, where his work covers client issues in the health care, food and agriculture, higher education and chemicals industries, as well as ally development and high-level counseling for clients facing intense media scrutiny. He works closely with the firm’s internationally focused clients, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining Dezenhall, Jefferies worked as a lobbyist for an international trade association, representing Fortune 100 companies on international trade and investment issues and managing diverse business-community coalitions.

Jefferies’ experience in the political and advocacy sectors includes work on campaigns and in state legislatures; in 2011, he worked as a legislative aide in the Wisconsin State Senate during the labor protests over proposed collective bargaining legislation and as a staffer for the state Democratic party.

Jefferies is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and father of a (distant) future Badger. He pursues many passions in his spare time as a youth wrestling coach, baseball fan and avid outdoorsman. He appreciates a good pair of suspenders.
